UK Must Recruit in Different Ways

International students help to generate billions of dollars each year for countries, and Universities UK estimates that number to be 8 billion pounds a year for the UK. The UK government has implemented many new changes to the higher education and visa system which is turning international students away. To help maintain the number of international students, many institutions are turning to agents and other student recruitment agencies.

Competition is increasing with other European countries, most notably France, as well as North American countries. The cost of recruiting international students is increasing and institutions do not have the funds to keep up.
